Orkutに友人をinviteする手続きをすると、その友人には招待メールが送られる。だけど、ここ暫くは招待メールが滞っている。一向に解決の兆しが見えないので、大分イライラきているユーザーもいるみたいだ。
アナウンスも無いので、Orkut内のユーザー同士の会話を探していたら、オフィシャルな回答らしきものを持っている人を見つけた。
! Orkut Times Readers !(登録済みの人はどうぞ)というフォーラム内、No more invitesというトピックに、ある男性がコピペした内容によれば、
Hi *****(引用者による伏字), Thanks for letting us know about this. We have heard that some people are not receiving their orkut.com invitations, and we are looking into why this might be the case.We realize this is preventing people from signing up on orkut.com, so once this is fixed, we will resend these invitations. We apologize for this inconvenience.

ヘッダによれば、2月18日付けのhelp@orkut.comからの回答らしい。
サーバーが耐えられるようになったら、今まで送られなかった分(すごい量になりそうだ)を送ってくれるそうなので、
ひとまずは待ち。だ。
